Formed in 2001 in Suffolk, CTHRU27 are certainly no strangers to the scene.

After years of driving around the UK and selling demos out of the back of smelly vans, 2005 finally saw the release of the bands stunningly crafted EP ‘Radio..N’. Described by “A”s Mark Chapman as “A cross between the Beastie Boys and The Streets”, the EP gathered plenty of interest and soon saw the band playing alongside acts such as Dog Eat Dog, The Selecta, Defenestration, Franz Ferdinand and Kelis.

After a 5 year hiatus the band briefly reunited in 2013 and embarked on a run of special shows in support of their single ‘Under Milkwood’ but have remained quiet ever since…

After 8 years away and 20 years since originally forming, the Rap ‘n’ Roll six-piece CTHRU27 returned.

2021 saw the band return with a brand-new album (Gas Lighter) and a collection of special anniversary shows.
